Christmas Tree Magic Box

Good Morning,
I really enjoyed making this magic box.  It was very quick to put together since I used the card layout that I cased from Splistcoat  Stampers not long ago.

I wanted to keep the lid simple so when the inside is revealed there was a "wow" and "ooh".  And I also needed to practice more on my quilling holly leaves.

Here is the inside.

I love how this turned out.

So I made another one.  This time I wanted to show the tree inside the box.  So I made this box.

This is only half of the box.  These two sides will not fold out. I cut off the card stock and added the acetate from the packaging.  It was very thick perfect for this.

Here is the finished box.  Viewing from one angle.

Sorry for the poor quality picture.  Viewing from the see through side.

Box opened.

Here is the lid.  Sentiment was form Stampin' Up! Holiday Collection (retired).

Simple Christmas Card

Hello,

Sharing two quick but beautiful Christmas cards.

This one used Stampin' Up! Lovely As a Tree stamp set.

I ran some glue around the trees and sprinkled with some glitters.  I like the result.

This one also used SU stamp set called Pattern Pine (retired).
I also ran some glue at the bottom to make it look like snow. I like this one too.

Fabric Flowers Pin

Good Morning,

I finally took out my Stampin' Up! flower fold die and made these fabric pins that I saw all over the blog land a while ago.

I used the two smallest flowers on the die.  I don't have many buttons or brad so I made the fabric buttons for the flower center except for the blue one.

To make the fabric cover button:

Just a small piece of fabric scrap.  I dabbed a little hot glue so the button stayed in place.

cut around the button like this

stitches it and pull the stitch together

flip the button over and there you got the coordinated button.  I used hot glue to glue the button to the flower center.  Sorry the last picture didn't come out so good but you got the idea.

I am going to link this to Make It Monday.

Thanks for looking.

Altered Square Paper Mache

Good Morning,
I think I went through stages. First, it was the origami.  Then it was the quilling.  Next, it was the string art and now  I am at the altered stage.  After I altered those tin cans, I thought I will try the square paper mache boxes.

I love them!

I tried to cover the entire box but it was very difficult and it look tacky.  So I just leave the corners and I didn't cover the box base all the way because then I couldn't close the lid.  The box size is 4 x 4 x 2H.

For the big rose, I used Tim Holt Tattered Florals die cut. I used the two smallest flowers.  I followed the same instruction as I used here.

I am entering is to the following challenges:
Anything Goes - emboss it week 24
Crafty Little Place - alter it
My Time To Craft - with a window
Critter Sketch Challenge blog - Texture
Fairytale - everything goes

Jacket Cards

Good morning!

I made these awhile ago.  CAS (copy and share) this from here.  Mine didn't come out as nice as her

so I made another one

I didn't know why these two cards were so hard to take picture.  I took many pictures and  they were all crooked  and blurred so I gave up.

Have a lovely weekend!

Altered Tin Cans - Chirstmas

Good Morning!

Sharing a few more altered tin cans.  This time I decided to do Christmas colors.

I used  pattern papers on the size and added my crochet flowers. Then finished it off with rhinestones.

I got these tin cans from Joann Fabric.  I took the advantage of the 20% off the entire purchase this past weekend.  I didn't create these tin cans for any challenges but it happened to fit the requirement for a few of the on going challenges so ..

Lattice Cards

Good Morning Everyone!

I CAS this card from Valita.  She had some unique and amazing cards!

Here is another one.

Funny the card base looked like two different colors. It was from the same card stock, Creamy Caramel.  This showed that lighting is very important.  I like the first picture better with natural lighting.

I am going to link this card to Make it Monday.

Thanks for taking a peak!
