Jay's Scrap book pages

Good Morning,

Today I like to share a few more pages from Jay's school scrap book that I am currently working on. As you can see this is the Valentine's day pages. I prepared all the crafts pieces for the children and they only needed to assemble them. I used white lunch bag for the treat bag and decorated with "Priceless" set. They had fun assembled the projects. So to keep the theme flowing I also used "Priceless" set for pages accent. I don't normally use stamp images on my scrapbooks but I am willing to learn new things.

I missed the Easter Basket Project. That's why the pages jumped from February to May.
The next two pictures are Field Day. In the beginning of May the children came together in the school yard for about 2 hours. They played games and different activities.
It was a fun day for both the teachers and the students.
I hope I had inspired you to make a few scrap pages either for yourself, for family, or for some one special.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

Lady bug punch

Hello,
Yesterday, I had the urge to make something. I sat down and tried to make a 3 D card. I did make it but I didn't like the result that was why I did post yesterday.
I saw the animals punch all over the web but I haven't make any of them and yesterday I made this cute lady bug book mark. I don't have the measurement that everyone was using. This is my measurement. I also don't have the Hemp Twine for the antenna so I cut a small piece of paper out of a circle card stock and cut that in half and I got her the antenna.

Here she is in action. Cute isn't she?

Jay's Scrap book pages

Good morning,

I have a few more pages from Jay's scrap book. Here they are. These pages borders were pre-decorated. I know the borders are not coordinated with the theme but I didn't want to cover them. Now that I looked at them in the pictures, I didn't really like them. May be I will cover them later.

I usually did the journaling when I finished scrap booking for the entired grade or even the entire scrap book if it was a vacation scrap book.

Thanks for looking.

Jay's Scrap book pages

Good afternoon,

What a busy weekend. Victor and I and the three kids were in Philadelphia cleaning, painting, and putting in tiles and moving the kitchen. We had put so much work on that rental property. This was our fifth time cleaning and fixing that property. It wasn't worth it at all. Anyway I was just so glad that it was finished. Therefore, I wasn't able to stamp or have any scrap book done this passed weekend. But I still wanted to share a few pages of Jay's school scrap book that I made a few weeks ago.

Here they are.

Hallween crafts and treats.

Thanks for checking in.

Shutter Masculine Birthday card

Good Thursday Morning,
I made this shutter card a while ago and I thought I'll share it with you today. I thought it'd make a good masculine card. I should send this card for my brother's birthday since he likes to gamble.

Here is a view from the top.
Don't let this card fool you. It is very easy to make this card. I used 6 x 12. Score at 2, 4, 8, and 10. Fold along the scored lines. Then you'll make two cuts. Measure 1 3/4 " from the top and also from the bottom and cut from the 2" score line always to the 10" score line. Fold the middle section the other way and decorate any way you like. That's it. It's very simple.

Flower pot cards

Hello there,

Here are two flower pot cards that I made using the fleurettes that I made. They look so nice with the 5 petal punch. If you look closely, the fleurettes are not the same. The top card had six petals, and the bottom had five petals. Aren't they pretty? Leave me a comment if you're interest in making the flower pot card.

Handmade Fleurettes

Good Morning,

Look what I have here. I made so much of these fleurettes. They are so pretty. Won't you agree? I had used them for card accents and scrap book embellishments and they really jazzed up the projects. Here I used on a hair clip. I used glue dots to glue the fleurettes on to the clip and then I glued gem stone in the center. Cute isn't it?

Check back next time for more project using these fleurettes.
Thanks for stopping by.

Lattice Design

Hello,

Here is another lattice design. I like this style better. The design paper is called Urban Oasis. It was retired. I used craft card stock for the base. The three neutral colors go together very nicely. Won't you agree? The stamp image was from "Echoes of Kindness." Again, the stamp set was retired. It was such a pretty stamp set. The sentiment was from "On your Birthday" set. I added three gem stones at the bottom and they really jazzed up the card. I really like this card.

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

Ray's School Scrap book

Hi,
Here are a few more pages from Ray's second grade scrap book. We had new principal and during the American Education Week we were allowed to visit our children's classroom during specific hour. First thing that came to my mind was opportunity to take picture for their scrap book. (lol) There's a sad reason behind me. That's why I took lots and lots of my children pictures.

After that I was back for the Christmas party. They had The Polar Express party. They went to school in their pajamas if they wanted. They were so darn cute. And yes, they had hot chocolate, cookies, candies, and more SWEET. Yikes!

Ray is also going to Seminar (gifted class). At Seminar they did lots of fun activities. In these last two pictures each student was assigned to do research on a country. On the presentation day they had to set up a booth to display objects from their countries and they had to give speech about their country. The parents were to bring a dish from their child's research country. It was a big project, but they did wonder job. Well done, Ray!

Thanks for checking me out today. Have a great weekend.

Ray's School Scrap book

Hello,

This past Sunday I finally picked up my son's school scrap book album and continue with where I had left. I completed four pages. My goal was to complete one or two pages a day but I had four pages done. Now that's a WOW!

I love all the pages layout. I had so many lose papers. I decided to use this coffee color from Creative Memories. Oh yes, that's another thing that I wanted to share. I only used Creative Memories papers for my personal scrap book album. I had tried other companies papers but I did not like the finished result. My friend, Maritza, introduce me to Creative Memories and I was hooked. At one time I even joined the company so I could get the discount products.
That's for today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Thank You card

Hello,

I made these two cards for my brother's landlords (a father and a daughter) for having us over their house for the 4th of July. The butterflies card is for the daughter. And the lattice design with the bird is for the father.

The butterfly thank you card is one of my favorite card. I had made many in the past. This one I added the sizzix swirl for the tail. I love it!
And for the other card I like it too. I thought the colors and the image go together well.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks for visiting.

Birthday card

Good afternoon,

I was so excited to share my pop up cake the other day that I forgot to show the front of the card. Here it is. I used Brilliant Blue for card base and Rainbow Sherbet (retired) DSP. For the candles I cut out two 1/2 inch Washington Apple (retired) DSP and for the flames I used the yellow Delicate Dot DSP from sale-a-bration. The sentiment is from "On your Birthday" set.

Here is another one that I made. This time I used Raspberry Tart DSP (retired). The swirl is from Sizzix. The cake topper is from "Crazy for Cupcake" set. For the flame I cut out one scallop from circle scallop punch.

I am a new user for blogspot and I am not a high tech person. This blogspot program is a little tricky for me to use especially the image. I have to upload the image first before I write my post and for the images I have to know which images to upload first and which to upload later. It needs thinking one step a head which I forgot to do on this post. I forgot to upload the front pink pop up card first and now I wanted to show the front of the card but I can't because if I upload the image now it will show at the top of the page instead of at the bottom. I tried to move the image but it won't allow. Anyhow, the front of the card will have to wait until my next post.
Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time.
